The problem no one's solving

Independent optometry practices are bleeding capital they can't see — to inventory mistakes a spreadsheet can't catch.

1530%
of frames in the average practice are dead stock the owner can't identify
$1050K
in capital tied up in slow-moving frames sitting on display boards

How the agent works

Turn runs your inventory. You review the results.

01 / MONITORS

Turn watches your boards. Every day. Automatically.

The agent scans your entire inventory daily — every frame, every contact lens SKU. It flags items that haven't moved in 60, 90, or 120+ days, ranked by how much capital you're losing. No one has to remember to run a report. Turn already did it before you opened the door this morning.

02 / REORDERS

One reorder list per supplier. Built overnight.

Based on your sales velocity and safety stock thresholds, Turn generates supplier-grouped reorder lists while you sleep. Luxottica, Marchon, Safilo, ABB — each list is ready to copy into the supplier portal with one click. Your staff reviews instead of researches. 3+ hours saved every week.

03 / LEARNS

The longer it runs, the smarter it gets.

Turn tracks sell-through rates by brand, style, and supplier over time. It catches seasonal patterns — sunglasses spiking in March, kids' frames in August — and adjusts its recommendations automatically. By month three, it knows your inventory better than your longest-tenured employee.

How it works

Up and running in 30 minutes.

01

Import your inventory

Upload a CSV from your existing spreadsheet, or enter items manually. Most practices import in under 20 minutes.

02

Track sales as they happen

Mark a frame sold with one tap. Turn logs the date, decrements the count, and updates your velocity in real time.

03

Review what Turn found

Open Turn each morning to see exactly what to reorder, what to clearance, and what's flying off your boards.

Why not your current system?

BL

I started working at my parents' optometry practice in Miami when I was 14. Front desk, frame boards, supplier orders, lab coordination — I did all of it. For 8 years I watched my mom spend Sunday afternoons counting frames in spreadsheets, and I watched $20,000 in dead stock pile up that nobody had time to find.

Turn is the AI I wish my parents had a decade ago. Not another dashboard they'd have to remember to check — an agent that does the work for them.

FAQ

Questions we hear most.

Turn uses real-time sales velocity data and inventory aging algorithms to make decisions a human would take hours to compute manually. It's not a chatbot. It's a system that monitors your inventory 24/7, detects patterns, and generates actionable recommendations without being asked. Think of it as an always-on inventory analyst who never takes a day off.
Not yet — and intentionally so. Most practices we talk to don't trust their PMS inventory module to begin with. Turn works standalone with a CSV import in under 20 minutes. PMS integrations with Compulink, Crystal PM, and RevolutionEHR are on the roadmap for late 2026.
Most practices are fully set up in 30 minutes. You upload your existing inventory spreadsheet, we map the columns, and you're seeing your first dead stock report the same day. We'll do it with you live on a Zoom if you want.
No. Turn only tracks product SKUs, quantities, costs, and sales dates — never patient information. There's no PHI in the system, so HIPAA doesn't apply. Your patient data stays in your PMS where it belongs.
Nothing — because Turn retains all the institutional knowledge about your inventory, your sales patterns, and your supplier preferences. New staff can open Turn on day one and immediately know what to reorder and what's sitting dead. No training required. The agent already knows.
Turn was designed specifically for staff who live in spreadsheets and hate new software. Big buttons, plain language, no jargon. We train your team in 15 minutes. If anyone gets stuck, we're an email away — no phone tree.
Not at launch. Turn generates pre-grouped reorder lists for each supplier (Luxottica, Marchon, ABB, etc.) that your staff copies into the supplier portal in seconds. Direct API ordering is on the roadmap, but most practices tell us the copy-paste workflow already saves them 3+ hours a week.
